I met with Cheryl & Matthew early in 2014 and I was delighted when they chose me to cover their special day at Ye Olde Plough House at Bulphan, a first for me so I was glad to meet them there before the big day to have a look round and check out the many lovely locations for the personal shots.
I arrived in plenty of time to capture the preparations in the Bridal Room, there was a great buzz of excitement and activity - despite this Grace the flower girl fell asleep! Cheryl and the bridesmaids looked absolutely stunning. Graham arrived early to catch the Groom, Best Man and ushers in the grounds and the guests arriving. It was a very hot day and Cheryl & Matthew had chosen to have the ceremony outside which was wonderful, we walked through the grounds to the flower arch capturing many great images on the way. It was a lovely intimate ceremony - sealed of course with a kiss.
After the ceremony there were drinks and time for mingling before we worked our way through the list of family and friends groups, when this was completed we took Cheryl & Matthew off for some personal images, using all the great settings in the grounds. When we returned a walk through the confetti line up was captured.
We then moved inside - the room was set out beautifully and a delicious meal was served, after this we had some moving and funny speeches.
We then moved outside whilst the room was cleared, enjoying the mingling and drinks were served, Cheryl then threw the bouquet which was a time of great excitement, it was well caught causing much hilarity.
After a while we went inside where the stunning cake had been moved forward for the ceremonial cake cutting followed by Cheryl & Matthew sharing a taste!
The cake was moved away and the floor was cleared for the first dance which was very smooch and romantic, after a while everyone joined them on the dance floor and the atmosphere was one of pure happiness.
A photo booth was on site and this caused much hilarity, all in all a very happy well organised day that was enjoyed by everyone and we were pleased to be a part of.
